Congrats and thank you to Cory Golob, KU1U, for stepping up and now serving as Maine's ARRL Section Manager! Cory is looking for someone willing to serve as Section Youth Coordinator, and another person to serve as Public Information Coordinator (PIC). Interested? email ku1u@arrl.org
September 12 from 8am until noon at the Windsor Fairgrounds. Check back to see when the Seagull Net and other traffic nets meeting will occur at the hamfest.
Don't miss the last Maine hamfest of the year. September 19 from 8am until noon at the Alexander Elementary School on RT-9 (Airline rd), Alexander.
The Seagull Net is now in the summer hours with start time at 1700 (5pm)
The Seagull Net and amateur radio has lost a few long-time checkins and net control station:
Bill Crowley K1NIT, former section manager and long time SGN net control station passed just after last Christmas. Also Brenda -Bren- Stewart, W7EN became a silent key in March of this year. Al Sirois N1MHC and Blaine Kimball W1VLU both became silent keys just before Thanksgiving 2024.
